The Hollow was a progressive metal band from Toronto, Canada. The Hollow was formed by Matthew Wagner, Karen Wagner and Todd Lefever in 2001 and released two full-length albums and an EP between 2002 and 2004. A third album, A Stimulus for Reason was originally planned, but due to personnel changes and the desire to explore their experimental side in more depth, the band decided to change the name of the band. The Hollow’s name was changed to Alpha Galates, and the planned third album was released under their new moniker (see Alpha Galates on Metal Music Archives).
