THE LUCIFER PRINCIPLE is a death metal act from The Netherlands (Apeldoorn, Gelderland) formed in 2004. The band released a couple of demos before releasing their debut full-length studio album "Pitch Black Dawn" in 2007. "Welcome to Bloodshed" followed in 2009.
The band are known for using contrabass ( double bass) on their releases and in live shows up until 2009 when bassist Michael "Mike" Grunwald left the band.
