THE MIRACLE is a progressive metal band from Jakarta, Indonesia. The band started life as a cover band named as “X-Part” in 1998, playing classic rock music. They changed their music direction to a progressive metal onne and won some festivals in Indonesia. They disbanded in 2000 because some members of the band continued studying overseas.
Four years later, Reza who was the drummer for “X-Part” invited Faisal (guitars) to reform “X-Part” with the new position to be a Dream Theater cover band and changed their name to “The Miracle”. Their debut album, “The M”, shows significant Dream Theater influence and was released in 2008 under the Quadrann label. But The Miracle has got their own identity too and are no clone band.
