Thera is a metalcore / post-hardcore band from Anchorage in Alaska, formed in 2009.
Thera is inspired by artists that include inspired by Thrice, 36 Crazyfists, Underøath, Architects and Bring Me The Horizon.

Thera (Pronounced Th-ear-ah) is a 5-piece Alaskan rock band forging their own brand of epic, soaring music. Now something of veterans in the local Alaskan scene, Thera began as an acoustic project in the small-town of Soldotna in 2005 before developing into the full-fledged rock outfit that released the full-length album If This Is The End… in 2010. Warmly received, If This Is The End… showcased the unique characteristics Thera brought to the table: powerful female vocals, intense yet catchy songwriting, and emotional lyrics.
