A Norwegian band hailing form the far-up-north in the city of Honningsvåg the northernmost lying city in the world. probably also one of the northernmost rock bands in the world also, the music represents the dark, cold, and lonlyness which can be felt in the northernmost corners of the northern outpost that is Norway.
Their heavynes comes from the dark mood to the songs, and the thick bass. also they heavy hammond organs and synths brings a heavy texture to the sound. also some buissy heavy riffages and half-virtose bass playing will give it a heavy, clangy sound.
this band drags influences both from gothic rock, progressive rock and post punk/new wave, or dark wave to be more presise, a more evil Rush or, sinister Arena/IQ/Pallas, yes they have some neo-progish elements as well. King Crimson Lark - Starless - Red trio is also similar in intencity and technicality to Thule.
