Toadies is an alternative rock/hard rock band from Fort Worth, Texas formed in 1989. They are most well-known for their song "Possum Kingdom", which came from Rubberneck, their debut studio album. The band is also known for their combination of alternative rock/grunge with a southern blues rock sound.
Their classic line-up consisted of Vaden Todd Lewis on vocals/guitar, Mark Reznicek on drums, Lisa Umbarger on bass, and Darrel Herbert on guitar. They disbanded in 2001 after Umbarger left the group, but the band reformed in 2006. They released their comeback album "No Deliverance" in 2008, two years later after their reformation.
