Torch is a Swedish heavy metal act formed in 1979 as Black Widow. They changed their name to Torch in 1980. The band's self-titled debut album was released in 1983.
Torch disbanded in 1986 after two albums and two EP's. They reformed in 2003 but the only new material released to date has been two new songs on the 2009 compilation Dark Sinner, the remainder of which consists of re-recorded material from their earlier releases.
