Torrential Downpour is a mathcore band from Haworth in New Jersey.
Torrential Downpour was started by drummer Peter Costa and bassist Matt Cece in the late 1990s. Its line-up was completed in 2000 with the addition of vocalist Prkr and guitarist Jason Volpe. The band’s first full-length, Torrential Downpour, was released in 2009.
Referencing noise, jazz, ambient and grindcore, Torrential Downpour’s delivery is complex, aggressive and experimental.
