Triphon is a melodic metalcore band from Atlanta in Georgia, formed in 2011.
The band was started by ex-Shattersphere members Kyle Morrison and Justin Rogers as an internet collaboration to bridge the 1000 mile gap between them. Stephen Gladney was added after posting an advertisement, and ex-Priapism bassist Brian Dawley and college friend of Morrison also joined.
Triphon cites In Flames, Bullet for My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage and All That Remains as influences.
