Upon Shattered Dreams was formed when guitarist Alex Griffin along with Connor MacFarland had decided that they were going to try to put together a deathcore project. So they began writing together and put out an add for a drummer, and that is when our first drummer, named Raul, had came a long and really got this band started; without him Upon Shattered Dreams would never have happened in the first place. Things wound up not working out with Connor so Raul and Alex decided to pursue other options.
