Vaios R. Kolokotronis is an Electric-Acoustic Guitar Tutor/Musician/Solo Guitarist born in Volos, Greece. He started playing electric guitar at 17 as self – taught, inspired by Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple/Rainbow), Jimmy Page (Led Zepellin), Dave Murray (Iron Maiden), K.K. Downing (Judas Priest), Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and also Yngwie J. Malmsteen.
At the age of 20, he started studying electric guitar with Ioannis Anastassakis, "Coach Of The Guitar Champions" .After that, in search of music education/professionality and get knowing the guitar better, he started getting lessons from the guitar virtuoso & Coach, Teo Ross. Since then and after following the advice of his guitar Master for a more dedicated studying schedule, he didn't stop practicing at a daily average of 6-8 hours. Apart from his Metal/Rock interests, he is also studying/playing Jazz Music, inspired by Pat Metheny, Miles Davis and Joe Pass.Another kind of Music that he's passionate for, it's Flamenco.
