VERBAL ABUSE is a seminal American hardcore act formed in 1981. They released their debut full-length studio album "Just an American Band" in 1983. "Rocks Your Liver" followed in 1986. An album which incorporated metal elements. VERBAL ABUSE released their third studio album "Red, White & Violent" in 1995, on which their music style had shifted to crossover thrash metal.
VERBAL abuse disbanded in 1995, but reunited again in 2005 as interest in their music had grown considerably after SLAYER opted to cover several of their songs on the "Undisputed Attitude" cover album.
