Von Doom is a metalcore / thrash metal band from Portland in Oregon, formed in 2005.

Formed in 2007 by guitarist Billy Serocki, bassist Eric Fordney, vocalist Ali Dika, and drummer Justin Vaughn, Portland, Oregon-based Von Doom sought to make waves in the Metal scene with their brand of furious, fast-paced melodic Metal. After the release of their first EP, “Second Sight” (currently unavailable), and a few changes in personel, Von Doom revisited their first release, remixing original tracks and introducing vocalist Jason Hooker, bringing about the aptly-titled “Second Sight Revisited” digital EP.
Seeking to surpass their previous musical endevours, Von Doom entered Portland’s BAMF Studios in October 2010 to begin the recording of what would become their most ambitious effort yet: “Under The Ashen Empire”.
