Vulcan, a project of musician Lyle Steece, is an obscure act that released a sole album in the heavy psych style at some point in the mid seventies to mid eighties, though most settle on 1981 with a recording date of 1978. In spite of this, some sources also credit it as being released as early of 1975, three years before it was supposedly recorded.
The album may have been originally released under Steece's own name rather than Vulcan, though this is usually agreed as the official artist name and may have originally carried any one of three titles: Meet Your Ghost, The Wedding Album, or Hard as Rock. Further complicating the matter even presses identified as originals are stamped as being reissues. The amount of conflicting information seems to have came about by the artist altering the release over time.
