Vuur are a progressive metal band from the Netherlands. They feature the talents of Anneke Van Giersbergen who as well as having a solo career was the former vocalist in The Gathering and The Gentle Storm who she collaborated with Arjen Lucassen. She has also sang on some Lucassen’s Ayreon albums as well as with Devin Townshend. Also in the band are drummer Ed Warby ( Ayreon, Gorefest, Star One), guitarist Jord Otto (ReVamp, My Propane), guitarist Ferry Duijsens (Anneke van Giersbergen solo, The Gentle Storm) and bassist Johan van Stratum (Stream Of Passion). They released their debut album “In This Moment We Are Free – Cities” in 2017.
