Weeping Silence is a Maltese gothic/doom metal band, formed in 1995. On their earlier releases they played a slower style of doom metal, but their later releases have emphasized their gothic side more. They have released three albums to date: End of an Era in 2008, Theatre of Life in 2011 and For the Unsung in 2012.
Shortly after the release of For the Unsung, vocalists Joseph and Rachel Grech both left the band, causing a major change in their lineup. The band is currently working on a fourth album, tentatively titled Opus IV Oblivion.
Their current lineup features: Dario Pace Taliana (Vocals), Diane Camenzuli (Vocals), Manuel Spiteri (Guitars), Mario Ellul (Guitars), Sean Pollacco (Bass), Alison Ellul (Keyboards) and Angelo Zammit (Drums).
