Not to be confused with the London band of the same name, who released 2 albums with Paul Mario Day (ex Iron Maiden) as lead singer, this Wildfire were previously called Red Alert, but had to change their name.
This is reflected in the fact that some of the copies of "Run To Ground", the band's only single, have stickers over the old band name with Wildfire written in biro over the top.
This band also got a song featured on the Muthas Pride compilation.
