WonderOnce is a metal band created by the Swiss / Italian / Spanish composer, vocalist and drummer Andrea Montalbetti in late 2014, almost after 10 years in the making. Inspired by bands such as Nightwish or Rhapsody (of Fire) and great composers such as Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Ennio Morricone or Igor Stravinski, WonderOnce is a metal band which varies from the basic "metal band with synth/orchestra" to a more ambitious project which is to create an epic movie score mixed with harsh and light metal as well as other elements from other genres. Each song has its own lyrical theme varying from legends across various cultures, songs about fantasy elements or downright original stories.
