US act X OPUS is a new addition to the Texan metal scene, and is a project instigated by composer and multi-instrumentalist James Williams. Debut album "The Epiphany" was picked up by US label Magna Carta Records, and was officially released on May 31st 2011. Williams recorded all the instrumental parts of this initial effort himself, while vocals came courtesy of Brian Dixon and David Crocker.
Later on Williams has changed his creative vehicle into a full fledged band, at the time of writing consisting of James Williams (guitars), Brian Dixon (vocals), Matt Bowers (keyboards), Jesse Gallegos (bass) and Corbett Tucker (drums).
