Yeti was a melodic black metal band from Tampa Bay in Florida, formed in 1996.
Yeti recorded a self-titled début album two years later, issued by Pluto Records.
A new line-up released the demo "Niflheim" in 2003, but failed to land the band a new record contract. In 2005 they changed name to "Among the Dead", but without any more luck in landing a recording deal the band decided to split in 2006.
