Your Kid's on Fire (YKOF) is a death/grind band from Knoxville, Tennessee.
Formed in 1996 as a two man studio project, Doctor Butcher and Kill Moe Dee added Ultimo Manipulator of the Zodiac 2000 Murders on drums. It took the band until 2001 to find a rehearsal space, and it was 2003 before they managed to play live. The shows were a poorly attended disappointment, which saw the band briefly go into hiatus.
YKOF got back together in 2004, adding The Masked Jackal as guitarist. The band played two more live shows, but once again, the listening public was somewhat apathetic. Undaunted, the band recorded the first half of their debut album "Aught Six: A Necrodyssey", which suitably impressed friends of the band, including Will Rahmer of Mortician. The band recorded the second half of the album, and Rahmer released it on his Redrum label.
