Yuppie-Club is a grindcore band from Oberhausen, Germany, formed in 2003.
The band members had known each other many years earlier, through one of Germany's first grindcore bands Popular Belief, formed when they were at high school, and heavily influenced by Napalm Death's "Scum". Popular Belief's demo "School & Unemployment" sold over 1000 copies and gained underground media attention. The guitarist for the band died, which saw them go through a number of line-up changes, and an eventual split in 1992.
In 2003, three members of the band met up again, drank a lot, and put a band together again. Unaffected by passing trends, Yuppie-Club has kept the old school influences from their youth, and wear masks while playing. The band has worked with Martin Schirenc (Pungent Stench) and Patrick Klopf (Disharmonic Orchestra).
