POISON Look What The Cat Dragged In

Without a doubt this is one of the coolest glam albums of ALL time.Poison reinvented American glam with the release of this one.Everything about this album is just great.The opening drums of Cry Tough,the wailing guitars of Look What The Cat Dragged In,the touching I Won't Forget You,the badassness of Play Dirty,the glam classic #1 Bad Boy,the closing chords of Let Me Go To The Show.This album can be listened to over and over,and you'll never tire of it,if you're a true glam fan.God forbid,if anything happens to the great Bret Michaels,from his recent hemorrhage,the new band Priscilla can step in to fill the void left by these glam greats,because they sound so damned similar to early Poison.If you're going to put one and only one glam album into your collection,this might very well be the one that should go there.

PRETTY BOY FLOYD Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz

This is such a cool album from such a cool band.The sound on this album is so very glam in every way.Singer Steve Summers is at his peak on this album,and just about every song on this album are pretty near glam classics.From the kick ass opening of Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz,Wild Angels,Rock And Roll (Is Gonna Set The Night On Fire),Only The Young,and the moving teen ballad/anthem I Wanna Be With You are all worth listening to over and over,if you're a fan of old school L.A. glam.I would seriously reccomend this album for any fans of Poison,Tuff,Faster Pussycat,Priscilla,or even some of the newer glam acts coming around.You really can't go wrong with this one.

PRISCILLA High Fashion

A really great debut album from a band that sounds almost exactly like the early version of Poison.In fact,Priscilla's High Fashion sounds like a cross between Look What The Cat Dragged In and Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz from Pretty Boy Floyd,to be precise.Wake up the Neighborhood,Lick N' A Kiss,Love In Action,Gimme Lovin' Tonight,and Some like It Hot are all awesome songs.The singer sounds almost dead on like Bret Michaels and the guitarists display some really sweet glam chops.The demo tracks on this album leave something to be desired as far as quality goes,but feature two of the strongest standout cuts in High Fashion and High Tonight.If you're into underground glam and old school L.A.-sounding glam,than this album is a must have.

KISS Alive!

this is just one of the coolest albums of all time and is a must have for ANYONE that has ever listened to anything by any band ever.This is thee must have album and the one that put these guys on the map almost 40 years ago.A true classic in every sense of the word and just so cool from start to finish.All of the classics are here:deuce,Strutter,Hotter than Hell,Nothin' To Lose,Black Diamond,Let Me Go Rock N' Roll.The list goes on,and they all sound even better than their studio versions,but you can see why I say that this is a must have.Run out and buy this one now,if you don't already own it.

L.A. GUNS L.A. Guns

What a great album by a great band.This album is just awesome for anyone that's into hardcore L.A. rock from the early to late 80's.L.A.Guns is kind of like the heavier,more straightforward version of an early Guns N' Roses.No Mercy,Sex Action,Shoot For thrills,and Bitch Is Back are all highlights and also all instant classics.Just take a listen to tracii Guns' guitar wailing and Phil Lewis' instantly recognizable voice and you'll se why this album is a must have for your record collection.This band helped to put the sleaze in sleaze metal with this album.For any fans of sleaze and glam,this is a must have.
