And the men forgot their passions before civilization,
in this dislocation they abandoned their souls
pleading for the past.
Praising logic and reason,
life had no price, the profit's in the memory.
Believe in reason, tow the line,
Don't let thoughts burn you, or take over your heart.
Humanity's modernization,
Regress in post-modern thoughts.
Look again, the face of the past doesn't belong to today
Were they happy? those who lived in those lies.
Looking for humanity's truth.
A fearful hope was all the world had
A fire was lit in the stars, but minute by minute
they fell, and went out; alive.
