So, I've been meaning to post this for a while. This is a video I was able to direct and edit back in 2009 for Resurrection, called "Buried Alive." I remastered the video recently in Adobe. I think it "pops" now. Check it out...
Back then, we wanted to do more than just a performance video. Once we started breaking down the time & money need to "bury someone alive" and shoot it, it became too much for the record company to afford.
Looking back, I should have sunk my own cash into the project because it would have been awesome. It might have gone viral!? Who knows. I mighta killed someone!
I'm proud of this video anyway. Bandleader John Astl organized the shoot at a great venue (I don't remember). Jerry Morte was in the band at time and his solo is shredding!
Jason Stevens was our DP and jib operator. J helped out a ton in a bunch of situations.?? If we only had some of the toys we have now, back then?? Whoa.
I've directed some crazy vids, but all the stars aligned for this one. Still worthy of a post after nine years! Plus, it's a killer tune! Enjoy!
