LYRICS
“Walk around like you know me
Eyes staring back
Trying to control me
Shifting glance between those walls
Competitions failure will get the best of me
Chase me into the sky
Let me be
Chase me
Chase me forever in minds eye
I can do this all day
How long can you last
Tracing my footsteps
All the way back home
How long will it take
To replace what you did to me
No time for sympathy
No time for goodbyes
I said my farewells to all your fucking lies
No time for sympathy
No time for goodbyes
I won’t apologise
You know me, you know me
I live my life pursuing the idea
That everything I’ve worked for has fucking disappeared
Hands together for no one
Pray to me you still have days to come
Look behind you as you walk home
Because the piece of shit like you won’t build their house from stone.

Meaning (Vocalist, Jacob Charlton):
This song is about being an outcast of freedom, constantly trying to escape the grind and cost of living but eventually being brought back down to everyone else’s stigma of life.
In terms of video:
We believe that this ethic starts at a young age by parents, and family grief. No matter the age or status, you still have no voice, so do what you love.
