This second effort by the old Swedish 80s band put out a same-y structure of songwriting approach as their debut. Means that if you dig 'Confession', most likely you'll chew this one up easily, but for those who aren't familiar with ANGELINE, in short story, they combine strong elements from BON JOVI, GLENN HUGHES, GOTTHARD, and JEFF SCOTT SOTO into one package.
Several shining moments here are the first opener, 'When The Lights Go Down', a real deal of great hard rock piece; 'Take A Little Time', a modern feel ballad but still wrapped up with classic hooks; 'Disconnected', a groovy track with a little usage of talk box and the chorus is awesome; 'Solid Ground' is totally solid; and 'Found' is also a beautiful ballad.
The rest are kinda average. 'Falling Into You' is quite decent, the chorus is nice with a weaker verse, 'Run Run Run' is an okay AC/DC-feel filler, probably 'I Had Enough' and 'First Time Around' I can let go easily. The production is pretty good too. All in all, 'Disconnected' is a safe melodic hard rock disc with some great quality songs on board.
