No, I don't mind if you butt in. One of the many gems of the NWoBHM movement, the "England" EP by Anthem is nothing special musically, but it does contain some solid rock songs.
The epic track "England" clocks in at 8:13 minutes, and, while it contains some nice parts, I think that it may be a bit too long for its own good. Being mostly a slow song without a lot of variation, it tens to get a bit boring. There are some great guitar solos though in this song which certainly are worth waiting for.
"Some Like it Hot" is a boogie driven rocker and there really is nothing interesting about it as such. "Do You Mind If We Butt In" is an uptempo hard rocking song which may be indirectly inspired by "Let There Be Rock"; it certainly has the same drive. Apart from being an energetic rock song, there is nothing special or groundbreaking about that one either.
...and of course, sometimes you don't want groundbreaking music, in which case, this release should be right up your alley. Fans of hard rock and traditional metal and, of course NWoBHM should like this one.
