About this release
Digital album self-released 22nd February 2011.
"Excavations" is about a monomythical journey to a desolate place in which the hero enters a parallel universe in search of the ultimate boon, a pathway to eternity. The first section of the journey involves a descent, a descent to the darkest corners of universe, to the unbroken, absorbing all, while the final phase is definitely an ascent, so it's an invert monomyth.
