It's been a year after "Burning Love" and "Love Lies" lifted Casanova name to the surface, Warner asked them for the second album and "One Night Stand" was completed and released in 1992 with the new bassist, Jochen Meyer. The musical direction followed the same path as in the first album, a typical European melodic rock with couple of giant memorable ballads.
A superb anthemic composition can be found in "I'll Come Running" and "Seal It With A Kiss". "The X-Tra Miles" is a heart-throbbing classy ballad even though I still prefer "Heaven Can Wait" of the prior album. "One of These Days" sounded very radio-friendly and this is a mid-tempo acoustical track similar to Bon Jovi's "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night" style. Overall, the album sounded a little heavier than the debut but shared the same quality in songwriting. This one's a top notch classic and a major attraction to all melodic rock lovers!
