The material for this recording was complete on 17, Octoboer 1989 in San Francisco, 90 minutes before a 7.0 earthquake wreaked havoc on the entire bay area. Upon restoration of electricity two days later, the final mix, incuding a commemorative track on "Convection Is Exitless", was performed at Maxitron Stuio
