To be honest, this was an absolute disappointment in the way of a follow-up release after CROSSFADE's self-titled.
Like what happens to almost every alt. metal band happened to Crossfade for a bit when this album was released. I like to call albums like this weenie-metal, because it's the sound that is cultivated from popular standards and critical reception that becomes a lamer version of the previous sound.
Usually for bands, this drags them into a downward spiral into the abyss to which we do not refer, you know the one (I'm looking at you Them vs. You vs. Me).
Although I cannot say this is a total failure, it is pretty mediocre in the way of CROSSFADE's music. Their self-titled was pretty good, and WE ALL BLEED was exquisitely good in the way of metal.
However, this hard rock album is something that just does not appeal to me, with it's mediocre riffs and composition, and just poor song quality. The only song that I really enjoy from this album is 'Anchor', which gives us a decent shot at their previous material.
If you are looking to collect CROSSFADE's total discography, then I would say skip this and move onto WE ALL BLEED.
I do not recommend this album.
