"Dirty Immortal Evilness" is a 2-track single release by Finnish thrash metal act D.I.E. (Dirty Immortal Evilness). The was recorded and mixed at Tonal studio on the 27th of October 1989, and subsequently independently released by the band. It´s the only recording released by D.I.E. before they disbanded in 1990.
Stylistically "Religious Falsehood" is a Sodom and Kreator influenced raw thrash metal track, although it closes with some more melodic leads. "World of Blood / I.W.S.B." is a more varied track (both in pace and style). The Sodom and Kreator influence is heard again when there is the raw and gnarly singing present on the music, but some other parts are less abrasive and reminding me more of contemporary Metallica.
"Dirty Immortal Evilness" is a well produced release and while it´s not exactly a revelation or adds anything new to the style, it´s overall a good quality release and a 3 star (60%) rating is warranted.
