1967/ 1976
I think that "True King Of Norway" isn't a simple compilation with 5 Ep of 5 Black Metal bands (all Kings of Norway Metal). This is because it contains 5 Ep past history. Sure, "INN I EVIGHETENS MØRKE" (Dimmu Borgir" is one of the music more closest to Classic Music that I ever heard.
This Ep was compiled with title track, divided in 2 parts. 1st part is melodic, symphonic (thank's to synths) and also folk. 2nd part is more close to Die Hard Black Metal and it's another song with the same title, for me. "Raabjørn speiler draugheimens skodde" is in the vein of 1st part of title track but with even is extremely evident in evocative and closer to Thrash Metal. The production is essential but good and professional. The songs have also strong connection with Prog, as is extremely evident in "Raabjørn speiler draugheimens skodde" but this fact is due more for production style.
That great bend was Dimmu Borgir in 1994. Today Dimmu Borgir remain one of the more accessible Black Metal acts. And, with great pleasure a band for all metallers.
