If there were an award based on devotion to the Black Metal ... Certainly in 2001 these two boys would have won the first prize! I remember some discussions that I did with these two friends of mine. Especially for Baal Black Metal Baal was invented by Black Sabbath and Black Widow and developed by Venom, Celtic Frost and then the early Teutonic thrash Metal acts. Crossing all this with the American death metal and the Nordic folck here is that a small circle of musicians created the modern (and final) Black Metal. If Moloch was all devoted to Black and Death Metal (and, with minor impact, Thrash) Baal is a good man that have the roots in Glam Metal and Black Sabbath, Purple and Zep (due to his father) then ended up having a musical evolution to the Extreme metal (but Thrash Metal was always present in his background, especially those made in Germany). The band in the initial days was composed by Moloch and Baal plus a good bass player Ilaria (Moloch fiancèe). Unfortunately when Moloch returned single they decided that the band had become a private thing. Moreover, they decided to create a rehearsal room and recording studio in the attic of the house of Moloch, creating a record label. This album was recorded, produced and mixed by Moloch.

The music is a sort of Thrash (thanks to Baal) and die hard Black Metal (thanks to Moloch). If you see the booklet you see a true die hard Black Metal/ antichrist band as Deicide. The music in the more Thrash parts is not Deicide or other U.S.A. Death Metal Acts but a more easy version of German Thrash Metal with great (but not personal) guitar riffs and simple guitar. The more Black Metal parts speaks of simple drums parts, played also good (if good is correct) and good guitar riffs (played sure in great manner). The voice is ridiculous, because Moloch had too much desire to be superior. The mix is ridiculous bacause drums is too high respect to guitar and the final production (that for them meant going to rediscover the roots of the modern Black Metal) transform this CD in a simple testament of simple ideas.

Moloch dominates the scenes with his ideas and Baal had to contribute only minimally to the project, because the personality of Moloch. Certainly if the enthusiasm was translated into a better demo would have been better. They then flooded copies of the CD Black Metal musicians in Scandinavia. But I never knew what were the results.

After two more albums (a demo and an album) that are unsuccessful even between friends... The history of the band stopped. Luckily Baal managed to rebuild their virginity while still a friend of Moloch, personality really be studying!

(P.s.: The loser in this whole story was Ilaria that Moloch discharged because he could not shape it, as well as other friends who were involved in the group and who have had better luck because not shaped by Moloch).
