I'm not a fan of Industrial Metal and of Fear Factory. This compilation is a gift that I received in record shop in 1998 because I bought another CD (but not of Fear Factory). So, for me this is the only CD with Fear Factory music.
Not bad at all, also if I hate the remixed songs ("Remanufacture"... I can say that makes me vomit..?) but I love "Edgecrusher", a great example of Thrash Metal. Certainly as musicians Fear Factory don't have many rivals and I think that as band this is a great band. But as many metallers the remixed version of FF music not please me and ruin my perception of FF music.
This compilation, however, is great. The more Thrash songs have present good feeling. "Your Mistake", a rare B-Side, is a short song that remember me the first Anthrax! "Edgecrusher", then, is a great Thrash song as "Replica".
Fear Factory is one of the more known band out of Industrial Metal circuit. And this compilation is a great example of first Fear Factory (1992/ 1998).
