"Corpse Republic" is the 3rd EP release by Greek death metal act since they formed. The EP was released in January 2013 and is available digitally through the band´s website.
Stylistically the band play death metal with a brutal technical twist. The band are very well playing and the growling vocals are delivered in a satisfactory fashion, but the material are not the most original nor the most memorable out there. "Corpse Republic" is the kind of death metal release that´s enjoyable while it plays but soon forgotten after it´s over.
The sound production is raw and suits the music well, but it´s just short of what I´d call professional. Sometimes it´s got more of a well produced demo quality to it. But while not everything are perfect on "Corpse Republic", it´s still a listenable release and it´s certainly not bad, so I´d say a 3 star (60%) rating isn´t all wrong.
