Great album made by Korn, very different from the predecessor Take a Look in the Mirror. This album shows a darker Korn using more eletronic elements but never leaving to be Nu-Metal in its essence.
See You On The Other Side opens with the preety good song Twisted Transistor, exelent guitar riff and a little bit dancer. In the sequence Politics comes in the same stile and Jonathan Davis is very well in vocals. Hypocrites shows all the Korn versality, strong beat and heavy guitar. Souvenir is another heavy song, begins with an exelent bass by Fieldy, the chorus is the high point in the song. The next track 2 Or a 2-Way begins eletronic and becomes into a powerful song with heavy guitar. After all this comes a slower song Throw Me Away with a dark stile and a great interpretation of Jonathan Davis. Open Up begins with an eletronic beat and a ripped guitar riff, the song has an fenomenal chorus, one of the best in the album. Coming Undone in the sequence has an antological riff, very heavy, showing that Munky is a great riff maker. Getting Off is another good song were Jonathan Davis is the spotlight, great performance. Liar is the heaviest song in the album, pure Nu-Metal in the vein. For No One has many influences of rap. The album ends with two dark songs, Seen it All, a slower song with and heavy guitar riff and Tearjerker, tottaly diferent from everything Korn ever made but a good song.
This is one of the best Korn´s album since Issues, different and variated, an exelent Nu-Metal album showing all the potencial of the band.
