Stephen
'Last Woman Standing' is the second album of Swedish hard rock band, MISS BEHAVIOUR, that's formed in 2003. I totally missed their debut and haven't heard since but a friend of mine recommended this album to me and not totally impressed at my first spin, but it's grown on me and in the end, it's another highly entertaining 80s flavor disc.

The style is predictable, those what you'll find from bands like BON JOVI, DANGER DANGER, or WARRANT, that emphasize in melodies, shining solos, and harmonies. The first track, '1988', is a clear sign of how the band will sound. A great starter, but 'Cynthia' steals the momentum before 'Give Her A Sign' broke out high with its fast-paced rhythm and spectacular chorus. Later, you'll also find a brilliant track, 'Emergency', and together with 'Give Her A Sign', are the best tracks of the album.

There are at least three patchy moments. 'Perfect War' is good but ain't great, 'Last Woman Standing' is the worst tune, and the closing track is slightly better but still at the average line if compared to other goodies such as 'Till We Meet Again', 'Taking Hostage', or 'Living The Dream'. The production is also great and I found many folks really love this small piece of melodic rock. To me, it's a nice album and sitting comfortably at 80% and ranked #37 in my top 100 of 2011.
