1967/ 1976
Interesting compilation for one of the bands more Metal in Southern Rock movement. The first two compositions ("Shake The House Down" and "Ragtop Deluxe") are new. What I like about "Greatest Hits" is that Molly Hatchet is a very granitic band, who managed to debut with a style remained unchanged over the years. Listening to "greastest Hits" seems, therefore, to listen to an album and not a collection of canzoniprese from different albums (including live). This is good? You might say no. Instead in this case is a merit. In my view, the advantage is that Molly Hatchet have the ability to change songs in concerts without change the feeling and emotions. And, in the studio album, not tired album after album.
I will not go further. Not needed. "Greatest Hits" is a great start today. A compilation with the rotten inside. And with full Southern spirit.
