Statement by the band concerning this release:
"Immediately after finishing Goblin Island, we set out to create our next masterpiece - STENCH. Our initial idea was to record it the same way as Goblin Island, but later, we opted for a more professional recording process since we now had a full band. However, we still had our "pre-production" versions of most of the songs you hear on STENCH. These are only marginally edited, mixed, and recorded - sometimes with just scratch vocal tracks or no keyboards, since halfway through the process we decided on a different approach and never finished them."
