'The Art of Balance' continues the consistency of NEWMAN's output, being one of the most underrated British hero of melodic rock, this album has some great songs that I like such as the uptempo opener 'Hero To Zero' and 'Edge of The World'; the heavy rock of 'The Miracle'; or the mid-paced AOR gem, 'Stay With Me', which should have been among his best written songs ever.
What slightly lack of this album is there are only three really stand-out tracks that's worthy of 9/10 rating or above. Aside from 'Stay With Me', the other two are 'Wish You Well', wrapped up with great riffs and blasted with great chorus, and the last song, 'Stronger', I'm impressed with how well he wrote this tune and smartly pick this song to end the album.
'Endless' and 'Your Surrender' are the weaker songs but some other recommended tracks are 'Tumble Down', 'Find My Heart', and the tender ballad, 'Forever'. As always, NEWMAN provided a tremendous production and it's really an enjoyable album by him. 85%
