The third album by Danish thrashers Sacrificial - now unfortunately put on hold - "AutoHate" is a nice little 34-minutes package of aggressive and well performed thrash metal tunes.
While not super progressive or anything, the music on this album is nonetheless quasi-technical and sounds a bit like an Invocator-Artillery hybrid. Most of the tracks are uptempo, but there are also some heavier and more groovy sections here and there.
The main strength of this album, I think, is the riffage. Sacrificial deliver some really compelling and well put together riffs on this album, some of which draw on old school thrash metal, while others are more modern-sounding, incorporating groove, melody and Machine Head-inspired heaviness.
This is a very strong thrash metal release which should appeal to fans of thrash metal and other types of more aggressive modern metal. It's full on thrash metal with awesome riffs galore!
