Look at the cover and remember that Acrimony are a stoner doom band and you've got a pretty good idea as to what their lyrics are about - weed, aliens, more weed, mysticism, and even more weed. They're not unique in this respect, and musically Acrimony are much like you'd expect out of any stoner doom band, with Sabbath the main influence. That said, they seem to draw a bit more than Led Zeppelin than many of their contemporaries in the stoner doom scene - acoustic piece "Turn the Page" in particular reminds me of Zep's folkish dabbling on III.
But aside from a few little touches like that I'm not hearing very much to distinguish this from more famous (and more innovative and exciting) work by Sleep or Kyuss. It's worth checking out if you're a fan of the stoner doom style, but if you don't go out of your way to track it down I wouldn't say you were missing out on a milestone of the genre or anything like that.
