Blood Duster was a grindcore band from Melbourne, Australia. Starting as a pure grind band, Blood Duster later incorporated death metal and stoner rock into their sound. The band name came from the song "Blood Duster" by John Zorn, from the 1989 album Naked City.
The band was formed in 1991 by Jason Fuller (aka Jason PC) (bass), Anthony Barry (vocals and guitar) and Andrew Brown (drums), although Anthony Barry was almost immediately replaced by Troy Darlington and Callum Wilson.
The band released their debut EP "Fisting the Dead" in 1993. Their 2012 album "KVLT" was released on vinyl only, and was rendered deliberately unplayable.
The band courted controversy throughout their career. Among other things, their second album was called "Cunt", their artwork was banned, and their stage props also landed them in court. Notorious Australian criminal and self-confessed murderer Chopper Read was a fan.
