Smoke of death...
Genre: crust metal
If you like your music dirty and crusty, then look no further. Dishammer has all you need - from d-beats to punked up dirty hard rock 'n' roll riffage. "Vintage Addition" is the epitome of simple, primitive and ass-kicking punk metal.
With the majority of songs clocking in at under two minutes, each track packs enough energy and intensity to inspire headbanging, moshing or pogo-dancing or whatever kind of extreme music dance you prefer. A major influence seems to be Discharge from whom Dishammer inherit the d-beating rage and the slight metallic edge their music has, but the lyrics on "Vintage Addition" are more escapist and nihilistic than Discharge's politically charged lyrics.
Jose Dopi's vocals sound like a black metal-inspired Jeff Walker, while the guitar and bass figures are primitive and crusty with a couple of metal elements popping up every now and then, and the drums d-beat their way from here to tomorrow.
The primiary attraction of this album is the energy and aggression, and if you like d-beating madness and dirty crust metal, then you cannot go wrong with this baby.
