Great, solid, catchy, melodic slice of rock, with a good sound somewhat reminiscent of Paul Weller's early outings with The Jam. So not particularly metal.
Nevertheless, there's lots to like in the interesting, well thought-out arrangement, vocal harmonies, melodic guitar solo and socially aware lyrics.
The flip side fares a bit better, with a pounding introduction and high energy (that word simply had to creep into a review of a band with this name!), with a few nods and winks to Iron Maiden. The song itself is fairly awful, but the driving backing music lifts ideas from Pink Floyd's "The Wall", and the drving chorus is marvellous - head banging nirvana.
The B-side, then, lifts this offering from the "mildly interesting" of the A-side into "must hear" territory.
Lyrics aside, Fight For Freedom is a total classic. Check out music in the (slideshow) video, available here!
