An eerie ditty of a single track split, this is a very limited release released back in 2009 in only 100 copies. It's a collaboration between (((O))) and Funeral Inconscientemente Natural which takes place in one cold, dark track. Running 65 minutes, this track moves gradually, slowly like a drift through an icy desert, chimes and guitar strums here and there give a sense that we are not alone.
The flow of this album/song is excellent, never one to startle you completely out of the blue, cold and calculated in its approach, the weird chimes that signal the beginning of the track reappear at intervals, as field recordings and new instrumentation begins to overtake them.
It is completely instrumental, and mostly relies on drone and ambient textures to relay its effect, but it's not without some heavily distorted, pounding doom to even the tables a bit. It's great nighttime music, when the lights are off, you won't know what to expect. Good work by both bands here, and well worth finding (if you can).
