Godog is a progressive metal band from the medieval town of Barcelos in Portugal.
Godog started their creative journey in 2003, stepping on stage for the first time 3 years later.
A resonance which they call abstract is the basis for creativity which slightly merges into progressive metal presenting, on the other hand, distinct influences that range from Celtic music to jazz, although subtly camouflaged.
Temperamental musicality, without voice, without words and overwhelming in texture. A heartbeat and a melody that delicately cradles the listener in a carrousel throughout mutable sceneries throwing him off a cliff wearing nothing but a torn parachute. An open wound weary by the strings of a violin.
