Jack Russell's Great White is an offshoot version of the long running hard rock band Great White, headed by former lead vocalist and founding member Jack Russell, who was in the band between 1977-2001 and again from 2006-2010. Jack Russell's Great White was originally formed in 2002 before Jack Russell re-joined the original band, but was activated again following his second exit and eventually released the album He Saw it Comin' in 2017. They also have plans to release an acoustic version of the Great White album Once Bitten (1987) under this name.
Jack Russell's Great White is the band who were playing The Station nightclub in West Warwick, Rhode Island on February 20th, 2003 when their pyrotechnics started a fire which resulted in 100 deaths, among them the band's guitarist Ty Longley.
